The power of language in our lives...

Read the poem below 

  1.  Think about an idea to complete the title above 
  2. Choose one phrase from the poem and use other words to say the same. 
  3. What is the implied message in each phrase? 
  4. Is this poem related to how we live our lives?



Take care of your thoughts
 they will become words.
Take care of your words
they will become actions.
Take care of your actions
they will become habits.
Take care of your habits
they will forge your personality
Take care of your personality
it will bring  light to your destiny

    Sure, that is the key word! We use language to say simple things that unified make a complex whole. In life we use language to say hundreds of things such as: how we feel, what we think, what we want, who and what we need etc.. So, Isn't language our most powerful source?
